Dunedin Beekeepers' Club June Meeting
This month there will be a light lunch from 12:30pm at the Malcam Trust Rooms, 45 Maori Road, Belleknowes, Dunedin before the meeting begins at 1:30pm.
Our guest speaker is Professor Phil Lester (Professor of Ecology and Entomology, Victoria University, Wellington). Phil will give a presentation on the biology and ecology of social insects.
Phil has written 2 books: "The Vulgar Wasp" the story of a Ruthless Invader and Ingenious Predator, and "Healthy Bee, Sick Bee" the Influence of Parasites, Pathogens, Predators and Pesticides on Honey Bees.
Beeline Supplies has copies of both books for sale.
