Fiona O'Brien along with her husband Jeremy are owner operators of Beeline Apiaries Limited, based from Otorohanga. Jeremy started Beeline Apiaries over 40 years ago. Fiona joined the crew by marrying Jeremy. Both have beekeeping in their blood, and enjoy working with the bees. Amelia Heath-Collins, Photographer Amelia is our photographer who graduated with a Diploma in Digital Photography from Otago Polytechnic in 2018. She is now studying towards a Bachelor of Visual Art (Photography). She is passionate about capturing the overlooked beauty of the world but enjoys all types of photography and has a keen eye for detail. Derek Skinner
Derek became a Beekeeper in 1986 when he was tricked into accepting a swarm in a cardboard box. Within two months he had accumulated 9 hives, all from swarms he had collected. He joined the Christchurch Hobbyist Club in 1992, with sixteen hives. Elected to the committee in 1994, Derek was on the committee until 2012.
