The entrance reducer comes with 4 screws and 2 mounting brackets that are screwed onto the bottom brood box above the floor so that the entrance reducer can slide along in front of the entrance.

Can be used as a mouse/wasp guard or slid on the other way up as a vented guard if the entrance needs to be blocked off for moving the hive.
