Hive Mats

Assembled wide rim hive mat. 33mm wide rims with triple stapled corners.
Hardboard is oil tempered, 4.8mm thick and smooth on one side.

The heavier, stronger rim is less prone to breaking than a standard size rim. The wider rim allows for an entrance to be slotted in for making over winter tops and splits without compromising the strength of the hive mat.

Available paraffin wax dipped or undipped. The paraffin wax dipping waterproofs the woodware preserving it for a longer life.
